Owning a residential property which is unoccupied has its problems, so our Unoccupied Property Insurance policy has been designed to cater for your needs.

You will find our policy is second to none and provides cover for a whole host of scenarios. Including but not necessarily limited to

  • Property is in between tenants
  • Property is awaiting tenants
  • Property is undergoing works / renovations
  • Probate where the owner is deceased
  • Redecoration
The cover which is available will depend on the reason why the property is unoccupied however in most cases full cover is provided including £5m property owners liability. Cover may be restricted by us if there are major structural changes at the property.

And if you let the property to tenants at any time during the year we will be happy to transfer you to our Landlord Insurance policy to meet your new requirements.
